I build deep, correct systems across unfamiliar stacks — AI platform, on-device NPU inference, backend, Linux internals.

AI does a lot of the typing; my job is making sure it’s actually right — verified against real benchmarks, gold-sets, and byte-exact diffs, not just plausible output.

Built a from-scratch on-device NPU inference engine — 16 models on Linux where AMD’s own stack offloads zero ops, at ~half the CPU’s power. When AMD’s toolchain broke under the load, I fixed its compiler, operators, and LLVM backend rather than stop — 7 fixes now merged by AMD, 7 more in review down to upstream LLVM itself.

The engine repo isn’t public yet — but open the PRs: public, third-party-accepted evidence of the work it required. Every fix exists because my own build hit it — the compiler (mlir-aie), the operators (IRON), and the LLVM backend (llvm-aie).

Fixes merged upstream in Zed and helm-diff; an open speculative-decoding PR to vLLM.

Zed & helm-diff read “Merged”; the vLLM PR is open — third parties accepted (or are reviewing) the code, not me.
